Erin's Wedding

Last month you got to meet our amazing Meghan, who just moved to Colorado. This month we are excited to introduce you to Erin! Erin was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. She graduated OU with degrees in Spanish and International Studies, and she has traveled to many countries including Jordan, Italy, Croatia and most of South America. Erin's passions include dancing, animals and of course, event and wedding planning!

Erin recently had her DREAM wedding in Vail, Colorado on August 19th, 2019. Her style is full of natural and rustic vibes. Her and her husband Michael couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out. Erin went with a light, airy and green theme for her tables. It mixed perfectly with the wood and the large windows leading to the natural greenery outside. Slide to the next picture which shows the cake and cupcake stands Michael built from scratch! We love seeing personal touches at weddings. But probably our favorite part of getting married in the mountains, is the little decor we needed for the ceremony. Nature itself did the trick.

The day started off like a fairytale, arriving to Piney River Ranch and changing into the wedding dress. After Erin's mom buttoned her dress, she walked down a trail to have her first look with her almost husband. It was magical in between the pine trees and flowers. All you could hear in the background was the soft sounds of water, wind and birds. The day went by so fast after that moment, but so slow at the same time. The ceremony started around 4. The ceremony had ancient Cherokee traditions, officiated by a great family friend, Rocky Robbins. Erin and Michael poured water directly from the lake behind, and sang a beautiful song about being in the moment and knowing the sun will be rising. They ended with an epic kiss, and then the party got started! They had what was probably the yummiest dinner of their lives. Erin's favorite part- the mashed potatoes. Michaels- the local cornbread with honey. After dinner, the couple snuck away for a sunset shoot. They went out on a canoe and felt the soft motions of the water, surrounded by the purest serenity. Their AMAZING photographers and videographers, Ripperton Films, got out on a canoe to catch some great shots. Talk about some dedicated vendors!

The evening ending with dancing, conversation, Smores by the fire, and star gazing. Can you say PERFECT?

The next day, the couple went on a Gondola ride to catch more unforgettable memories. After day photo shoot highly recommended, after all, most brides dont wear their dress after the big day. Erin got to put her's on again the very next day! The dress was a little dirty... the hair was let down... it was such a relaxed first day as bride and groom. The memories will forever be cherished.

Besides the family and friends and LOVE, let's be honest, the best part were the views. It doesn't get much better than this, my friends.
